My name is Rob and I'm an interface designer and software engineer at BBN Technologies. My recent work has involved command and control systems, 3D training games, medical imaging, and geographic information systems (GIS).

Lately I've been working mostly with Java and Flex. I can't say enough how much I appreciate technical blogs and tutorials I find on the web, so here you'll find some contributions of my own.

A long awaited redesign of my site is finally underway. The new site (what you are currently looking at) features portfolio items just as the old site did, but it is powered by the open source content management system, Joomla!.

The content management system will make it much easier to update my portfolio and add tutorials (something I've been meaning to do for a very long time).
